SBA: Book Discussion: Vonda N. McIntyre's "Dreamsnake"

At our October 29th, 2019, Star Base Andromeda Book Discussion meeting, four of our club members and/or associates discussed Vonda N. McIntyre's 1978 Hugo-, Nebula- and Locus-Award winning novel, "Dreamsnake". (This was an expansion of her 1973 Nebula Award-winning novelette, "Of Mist, and Grass, and Sand".)

If you're a Star Base Andromeda member who has read this novel but were not able to attend our discussion, and you would like to offer up your opinion, please share your thoughts here as a comment with the rest of SBA and anyone else who drops in. As part of your comments, please give "Dreamsnake"
a score, from 1 to 10 (10 best) and identify yourself by name in your comments. Although we currently only add rating scores to our website for local members and associates who participated in the original discussion or were unable to attend the discussion due to scheduling issues, we would be curious to see how your opinion compares to ours!

If you're one of those visitors who just stumbled across us, you're welcome to share your opinion here, too.

Thank you for participating! What did you think of "Dreamsnake"
?

Rating scores for "Dreamsnake" from this discussion: Scott: 9.5; Mark: 9; Mike P.: 7.5; Amy: 7. [Average Score: 8.25]

COMING NEXT: Join us on December 3rd, 2019, for our next genre book discussion: Pat Murphy's 1989 post-apocalyptic science fiction novel, "The City, Not Long After".
